From May 8th to May 19th – Florence (Italy) For advanced beginners and intermediate levels
If you are interested in unlocking your basic Italian and starting the path towards the next level, in a small group, effectively, in a fun environment, and supported by Florence's natural and artistic beauties, look no further: you have found the perfect match!
The Italian language course "Progetto italiano" in a small group setting, is ideal for students who want to improve their knowledge of the language, be in direct contact with the culture from which it was born, as well as helping them to make the most of their stay in Florence, and obtain visible results, in the short term.
Each day, in the afternoon, you will follow 3 hours of lessons (for a total of 15 hours per week) which combine an ideal mix of grammar, vocabulary, communication, and comprehension and which will develop between a formal classroom context in the teacher's home, and informal situations of real Italian life, such as walks, picnics, coffee, shopping, etc, in which you will be encouraged to put all the skills acquired into practice and into conversation practices with fellow students, under the attentive supervision of your teacher.
Classes will be held in the Historical City Center, within walking distance from Santa Maria Novella, Duomo and Piazza della Signoria. Included in each week of the course is a dinner with the teacher in a typical restaurant; the dates will be decided together during the first lessons.
“Progetto italiano” also includes, upon request, extra cultural activities in the evenings or at the weekend: a walking tour of the city center, and guided visits to museums, monuments, palaces, and Florentine gardens, cooking classes, and wine tour on the weekends.

Donatella is great! I engaged Donatella to learn Italian once and for all so this will be a long-term commitment. She is fair and very easygoing. But, she will put you through the necessary steps to learn the language based on your commitment level. There are no shortcuts. Italian Grammar rules can be complicated for English speakers, But, she makes it as easy as possible to understand and speaks to you in a thick Italian accent so you begin to pick up on the pronunciations and mannerisms to mirror the conversation. I'm so glad I came across her and will continue to work with her throughout my studies!
